suppose the burning question would be the migration path between products. If customers are facing the scenario of having to build their web sites ground up, including the content, in order to move to RedDot, then they will probably go back to the market place and look at other products as well.

Additionally, Local Government customers would be keen to see a more modular rich product (e.g. accessibility, IPSV metadata etc) from RedDot. It's not something they are used to, however, products like Immediacy already brag that this part of their product!

Hi Simon,

I think the main areas we are concerned about are all the non-standard bits of our sites - document repositories, the scripts that create event text objects from a non-LiveLink SQL database, internal searches that use custom properties, RSS and XML output and integration with UltraSeek search engine in XML.

Not knowing the Red Dot product at all, I'd also be keen to not loose any of the customisation that LiveLink offers - setting doctype and xhtml compliance, identical page object in multiple places in navigation and custom properties.
