Mim:switch WCM to WCM migration software

31 July 2008 by John Macfarlane

Today we demo'ed our mim:switch software to the RedDot guys in Germany and Switzerland to show them how our toolset works. We showed the extraction of the content, metadata (custom properties) and object relationships from the Livelink WCM demo site, its manipulation to repurpose the content and the loading into a fresh empty RedDot 7.5 site.

Unlike almost every technical demonstration I have done, this one went without a hitch. The software did what it should, the connection speeds for the Webex presentation stayed broad enough to allow a reasonable demo and I even managed to remember all of the steps without being nudged in the ribs.  The reaction was very positive.

If any Obtree/Livelink WCM users or any WCM techies would like to see a similar demo or would like to find out more please feel free to contact us on +44 (0)141 303 8239 or enquiries@mimtech.com.

The most recent addition for the ladies' amateur calendar in 2003 was the first-ever Senior International match performed at Staffordshire's most historic course, Whittington Heath The game Club. The history of Ladies' video game of golf continues to impress with its prestigious events, with the most recent addition indicating that there is perhaps much more still to come in future.

I have been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It's pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.

Unsure if anybody pointed this out, I failed to read all the comments, but your sites' structure is really a litte tweaked in Safari working on Windows CE.
